Your theme uses images to the one for the front office and you can not disable this feature?
You can not or simply do not have the time or inclination to create images for each of the articles you publish. One solution in this case, put a picture to a default.
Use Default Thumbnail Plus
Once Default Thumbnail Plus installed, go to Settings and configure the default images.
The denier can automatically display an image item, the first attached image or a set of default images for specific categories, tags or custom taxonomies. The plugin also supports custom fields.
